In memory of Jenny Forster Davidson

12 September 2024 14:43 | Anonymous member (Administrator)

It is with great sadness that we have learnt of the unexpected death of Jenny Forster Davidson, a friend, colleague and ISTR member. She was completing a 25km walk in London on Saturday 24th August to raise funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust when she collapsed and could not be revived.  Jenny was the Health and Safety Advisor at the British Antarctic Survey for over seven years, and some of you may have met her at the York conference in 2022.   Her friend and colleague at BAS, Elaine Fitzcharles said that "Jenny  was dedicated to making work a safer place, always thinking of others before herself. She was a lover of the outdoors and spent her time off walking, hiking or climbing, often to raise funds for charities close to her heart"

If you would like to make a donation in Jenny's memory, the family have kept her Just Giving page open: https://www.justgiving.com/page/jenny-forster-davidson-summer-walk.   ISTR have made a donation in her memory.  If you would like to sign the book of condolence, this is available here - Jenny Forster's Kudoboard | Kudoboard
