NanotechnologyISTR supported and contributed to the UK Nanosafety Group (UKNSG) publication: Working Safely with Nanomaterials in Research and Development In 2025 the UKNSG successfully completed its mission with the publication of the 3rd edition of the document. Since its formation in 2009, the group has played a key role in promoting safety practices related to nanomaterials. During the period, two versions of the guidance were released in 2012 and 2016, reflecting ongoing developments and best practices in the field. The 3rd edition takes into account updates regarding changes in legislation, recent studies in the literature, and best practice since 2016. With its publication the UKNSG mission has reached an end and the group will now be disbanded. |
