Ventilation Workshop (27-28 June 2023)
Following the extremely successful online events 'Clearing the Air' and Workshops held in 2021 ISTR are teaming up with Camfil Ltd once again to further our knowledge of ventilation, filtration and air quality.
We are offering a unique opportunity for delegates to learn from sector experts at Camfil's splendid training facilities at their headquarters on the edge of the Lancashire Pennines.
This Workshop will be followed by a Biological Safety Officers Meeting on the 29th June (see BSO Meeting details and Registration for further information).
Workshop Programme
The workshop will take a blended learning approach of formal lectures and peer-to-peer learning through breakout groups and discussions covering a wide range of topics to enhance delegate knowledge and understanding of ventilation and filtration theory and it's correct application. If you have specific ventilation or filtration application questions, delegates are welcome to raise these during the workshop
Following this workshop delegates will be able to hold informed conversations with a range of stakeholders including researchers, technical managers, Estates personnel, facility designers in order to protect people, processes and the environment.
Breakout group topics will include:
- Containment
- Local Exhaust Ventilation
- Indoor air quality
- Good Manufacturing Practice
- Post-pandemic ventilation
Also, if you've ever wondered how filters are made then your curiosity will be satisfied during a tour of the factory where they are produced.
Spaces are limited to facilitate discussion and interaction. ISTR Members will be given priority, so book early to secure your place. Non-member tickets will be released on 1 June 2023.
